Esau is one of the original members of the improv group PCP, The Phat Comedy Players where he often played up to eight characters in one night. This experience raised his comedic abilities to a higher level. Audiences adore his quirky down to earth characters, making him one of the most sought after comics in the country. Esau is also the host of Crack’Em Up Thursdays, one of the most popular shows in Los Angeles, located at The world famous Comedy Store.

Esau can be found captivating audiences on the comedy specials The Big Black Comedy Show on SHOWTIME, BET’s Comic View, Guy Torry’s Phat Tuesdays DVD Vol. 3, and Jest Comedy DVD Vol. 2 where he is a crowd favorite.

Esau is featured on the new season of Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam where his inventive style of comedy separated him from the rest and anchored him as one of the new stars of Stand Up.

Esau’s acting ability has opened eyes with his debut in the feature film Idlewild. His portrayal of the character Stuttering Sonny has earned him praise and recognition as a versatile artist.

Esau’s opening act credits include performances with musical artists such as Grover Washington, Norman Brown, The Gap Band, The Whispers, Frankie Beverly featuring Maze, and many more. He has also worked with many well known comedians including George Lopez, D.L. Hughley, Pablo Francisco, A.J. Jamal, Bill Bellamy, and Damon Wayans, among others.

This clever, quick-witted young man brings irony and rye humor to the stage in a way that makes his presence felt and his act hard to follow. His contemporary, sarcastic style of comedy illuminates any situation so don’t miss your opportunity to catch him on the road!
